Overall, the 6 IN. version is more expensive because there is 33% more stainless steel micro-mesh in the design. Also, the 6” version is actually 7.25 IN. wide as compared to the Standard version which is 5.5 IN. wide. The 6 IN. version is also more difficult to manufacture than the 5 IN. version.
